About My Seattle Trip

I’ve just started posting about my trip to Seattle for the iPhone Photography Workshop with Jack Hollingsworth at CreativeLive. I opt to post about it on Nuwomb.com because it was much more related to my journey with photography and the democratization of photography instead of vacation.

I do want to have this site as a more personal place.

If you’re interested in reading about the experience and what I learned, head over! I’m writing about it in a number of parts because it would be way too long. It’s probably too long anyways…

Seattle was brilliant and I’m happy the worst weather I experienced was rain (they’re getting SNOW right now).

I’ll leave you with one of the Instagram shots from the Instawalk in Pikes Place Market in hopes of enticing you to go read and share :)

Photography is Life

Last night I wrote an article on Nuwomb entitled: 3 Word David duChemin said that Made Me Cry.  I was a bit nervous because it was pretty personal and, well, I admitted to getting emotional.

I woke up to find an amazing response from the photography community. Tomorrow, I’m replying to the great comments and e-mails. It’s nice to wake up and not feel as if it was a really bad idea to share that type of content.  I’m so grateful.  I can only hope it shows that others can open up and the sun will still come up the next day.

I’ll probably be grabbing the David duChemin Workshop content for the $79 tomorrow. I’ve been amazed at how down to earth he’s been on the live videos.  In the future, I need to explore his ebooks because of their $5 pricing and I am not going to read one until my first ebook is out. Come to think of it though, most of the content of mine is already done. I’m just refining it.  I just feel if I was to look at one now, I’d start to compare and the lizard brain would try to prevent shipping.

Tomorrow is the final day of the free Workshop on CreativeLIVE.
