Are you willing to pray today: God, make me over, and over, and over…? As many times as it takes? And whatever it costs?

If I started a Vision Board, this analytics graphic would be an image that would be stuck to it. This image shows really great, awesome, steady growth of a website. You can’t see the actual metric numbers but I have a feeling they are quite impressive.
I caught Darren Rowse aka Problogger mentioning that Digital Photography School aka DPS had it’s biggest traffic month ( this month, you know, November 2011 ). I can only imagine those numbers and he said he has to pinch himself some days.
I’ve mentioned a number of times that I don’t want to create a replica of DPS with Nuwomb. It’s not the point to teach photographers or as I like to say, Democratized Photographers, how to do everything related to photography. There is a different story to be built for Nuwomb, but the growth chart from Google Analytics is where I see the sight in due time.
Darren has a pretty impressive piece of work there at DPS.
This is a quote from part of a great post by Adii on growing up. I feel as if I’ve learned this kind of information on “Sometimes saying nothing is the best response” over and over. It was a most recent exchange via Twitter that helped me to learn this more than ever.
Even though I had the best intentions for my views related to CreativeLive and the choosing of a return guest, I should have just stayed quite. Staying quite meant that I shouldn’t have even posted that “I should bite my tongue” as it just egged on someone else.
I still have opinions, views, and perspectives and I’m allowed; however, I should pick and choose the best ways to go about those debates.

I recommend reading the article as Adii talks about 4 years and 7 Important lessons (not just this one)
I don’t have to do as much updating regarding Nuwomb these days because I’ve started a weekly update over there. That said, I’m extremely happy with the most recent article on Instagram Android and looking into why it might be taking a while for release. I must say that I really want to get a podcast going but I’m so hesitant. The hesitation is nerves, unfamiliarity, editing, itunes set up, video vs audio, etc. I really want to talk about things and sometimes typing it out just isn’t the best method for communicating the thoughts and ideas.
Still. It’s all good. This is a short post that I am happy to say WE are growing stronger. We’ve made a number of changes to lifestyle – still need to cancel cable tv. We moved from Fitness Forum to Golds Gym for a number of reasons I’ll probably write about another time. I’m very much looking forward to spending time at Golds instead of sitting on the couch. The next big thing will be changing some food habits that seem to be very very tough to break – possibly how this all got on this track too.
The other night I got an idea that may help photographers with post processing. It’s not a brand spanking new idea but the way I present the idea may be new. I’m going to try and create PSD files of the photography that I’ve edited and thus help see what I’ve done.
We’ve continued going to Forest City Community Church each Sunday this year. We started in January and it’s been almost 6 months. It’s amazing and I am 100% certain it’s helping us transform personally and in my photography.
Seemingly unrelated, but I have a feeling it is related – the next book I feel I must read is called “Today We Are Rich” by Tim Sanders. I just know it.
