About My Seattle Trip

I’ve just started posting about my trip to Seattle for the iPhone Photography Workshop with Jack Hollingsworth at CreativeLive. I opt to post about it on Nuwomb.com because it was much more related to my journey with photography and the democratization of photography instead of vacation.

I do want to have this site as a more personal place.

If you’re interested in reading about the experience and what I learned, head over! I’m writing about it in a number of parts because it would be way too long. It’s probably too long anyways…

Seattle was brilliant and I’m happy the worst weather I experienced was rain (they’re getting SNOW right now).

I’ll leave you with one of the Instagram shots from the Instawalk in Pikes Place Market in hopes of enticing you to go read and share :)

Taking a Moment

This shot taken last week is a perfect example of why I love mobile photography.  Taking only a moment, if  I spot something interesting to me, I can still capture something instead of missing it – Thanks iPhone 3Gs. While sitting in the drive-thru of a McDonalds (I had a short lunch break during the Global Leadership Summit on Friday), my eyes were still open to these opportunities.

I’m really interested to see what comes tomorrow with the Apple Event.  I’m longing for a new and advanced iPhone for going further with mobile photography!

Street Photography Week

Hey, I’m not a master street photographer.  However, I’ve been getting into street photography a lot! This week on http://www.nuwomb.com I’ve been sharing street photography posts and information.  I’m not 100% what will happen tomorrow, but I’ll be finding something from the streets!

This photo shown here is iPhone photography shot in Toronto.

Did You Catch That Storm?

Marika and I went into Loblaws to get a few groceries and I had to snap some quick iPhone photography.  Marika’s getting used to my stop and go instagram addiction.  The great thing about this photo is that I can compare how the sky looked when we went into the grocery store to the wild and crazy sky when coming out.

The sky was simple and clear! But it got wild in a hurry!

See what the sky looked like as the storm rolled in!
