[dropcap]Thrilled[/dropcap] or disappointed with todays Apple Event, one thing is clear: You better welcome our computer overlords. Even if you’re not getting the iPhone 4S, your phone will one day [in the near future] have an amazing personal assistant.
And I don’t care if some kind of Android phone already has something like this. I just got more press than ever before, today.
This is the feature that really interests me and I’m interested to see where it can go. Can this be integrated into a Car? via Bluetooth?
How I have a lot of questions as to what the personal assistant, Siri, can do for us. You thought you didn’t have to remember things because of the internet.
Now you don’t need to remember it and you might not need to even know where to look for it. My friend Doug makes me laugh a lot because he always says “Wiki That!!” Siri is going to provide a lot of interesting entertainment for a months to come.

- Can I tell Siri to start my car on cold mornings?
- Can I ask Siri to find specific parts in the Bible?
- Can I tell Siri to checkin to GoWalla for me?

Ken Jennings was first to welcome our new computer overlords. I’d like to welcome them as well.
