Holding Up the ROM

This was the first time that I met the ROM addition in Toronto.  When I pass this building, I cannot hold back and must take a bunch of photographs.  My world stops and I shoot in +40 and -20 Celsius degree weather.  It was 40+ on a recent Toronto Engagement Photography Session. Oh my.  But we survived and the images are amazing.

Suddenly a Month Passes

I was doing some weekly wrap ups and then a month somehow sneaks by. What’s been going on? Well, my sister got married and I shot some trash the dress type photography vs your traditional wedding photography.  She got married in Cancun, Mexio and it was a great time with everyone.  I’m so grateful for family and the ability to be there.   The photography will be up soon but some people have got to see some shots already.

Marika’s been amazing. I don’t think anyone could be as supportive as she is with me.  We’re totally revamping our lives, letting go of our ego’s, and finding what we truly value.  We hope to make better use of our wedding website at http://scottplusmarika.com with simple images, recipes, and whatever.  It won’t be massively active, but it will be cool and something outside of facebook.  There are a few things that will represent these changes we’re making – like cancelling cable, merging cell phone plans, and the introduction of mildred (I like to call it).

What happened in my photography? Well I’ve got lots of balls in the air that I’m juggling and trying to keep up.  It’s exciting and not easy.  From creating a new photography business website for us as London Ontario Photographers to Tumblr blogs and keeping Nuwomb growing.  I’ll try and run down some of the activity, mainly that happened with Nuwomb.  Lucky, there haven’t been a huge number of new posts.
