The coolest news of the week comes with the start of a Tumblr Blog for Nuwomb. It had been a bit of a struggle to get the subdomain pointing to the correct Tumblr IP. Once I figured it all out, it was made super easy due to using CloudFlare with Nuwomb. More on Cloudflare in the future though.
The week only brought us 2 new blog posts on the Blog for Photography Incubation; but I believe these posts are strong. The blog post on Instagram for Android is one of the most popular posts currently. It’s received the most “Likes” that I know of too. I’ll be experimenting with current strategic ideas to see how it all plays out because I want to help other photographers with their blogs too.
I’ve been playing with how I can add greater value for people that goes beyond blog posts. Blogs posting is massively important to me and I have a massive number of blogs in draft form. But what can be done beyond this? eBook, WordPress themes, valuable newsletter information, and other ideas to help spread ideas and tips.
I was very motivated to get some of these other ideas going because of a person released a photography guide that I had no idea they even were interested in photography. If someone that doesn’t even appear to be connected with photography can release and ebook guide, why don’t I? How am I still so lacking on releasing or shipping a photography related product.
Less posting could and will mean more awesome things are going on in the background. This is why I brought up the idea of accepting guest posts for Nuwomb. Eventually, I do expect people to submit some posts. Until then, I continue to build the site on my own.

I also posted on http://www.scottrwebb.com regarding the next London Photowalk that’s happening on April 30th. I challenged anyone showing up to shoot mobile photography because it’s something I’ve really embraced. It takes some of the self-consciousness out of the equation that many people get due to seeing people with large DSLR cameras.
Hopefully I have more of a kick-butt wrap-up for next week!
